We are currently searching for a dedicated Material Handler to join
our team.
R&M Manufacturing was founded in 1968 to produce precision
sheet metal components. With over 50 years providing excellence in
sheet metal fabrication, R&M will assist with all sheet metal
needs - from prototyping to production runs.

Our facility is open 7 days per week with 1st and 2nd shifts
working Monday - Thursday and a Weekend shift on Friday, Saturday,
and Sunday.
What is a Material Handler?
A material handler is an individual responsible for the efficient
and organized movement of materials within a warehouse or
distribution center. Their primary role involves loading and
unloading shipments, sorting, and organizing inventory, and
ensuring accurate record-keeping. Material handlers use various
equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials
safely and quickly. They play a crucial role in maintaining
inventory accuracy, fulfilling orders, and supporting the overall
logistics and supply chain operations of a business.
In this role, you will:
Handle in-plant materials
Wrapping and banding freight
Pick up and deliver raw materials, work in process inventory, and
packaging supplies, as needed, to and from the presses and shipping
areas
Successfully complete forklift certification program
Label and prepare packages for shipment
To succeed in this role, you must:
Have basic computer skills
Have effective communication skills: fluent English reading,
writing, speaking
Have experience working in shipping/receiving/warehouse
Ensure FIFO is followed for all transactions
Be able to continuously stand, walk, and ability to lift up to 50
pounds

willing to commit to our fabrication team having fun while working
safe and producing quality efficiently. We are also willing to
train the correct individuals!
