Job Summary Center Point Energy is looking for a Seasonal
Construction Inspector to join our Minnesota Gas Team, located in
Minneapolis, MN. You will have the ability to: direct, monitor, and
inspect contractor construction activities and complete related
documentation to ensure compliance with all applicable codes,
standards, regulatory requirements and construction agreements.
Essential Functions
- Attend construction meetings with government representatives
(city, county, state) to obtain and provide construction project
updates, and relay the information to the crews and
management.
- Provide accurate and complete field construction documentation
including a detailed list of materials used on the job and ensure
timely processing of related records to maintain the integrity and
accuracy of company record systems.
- Review and prepares daily progress reports for compliance with
applicable contracts and agreements.
- Respond to customer inquiries for construction or conversion
information, provides customers with project status updates and
post installation troubleshooting to ensure complete customer
satisfaction with the service delivery process.
- Update distribution system maps and performs various
construction related and non-construction related activities as
assigned to support the service delivery process during the
non-construction season. Education Description
- High school diploma or GED Experience
- Education or training specific to natural gas distribution
system installation is preferred.
- At least one year of construction or utility operations/natural
gas distribution system experience (one full construction season
equivalent to one year) is preferred. We want you to know Being a
