Job Description Job Description The Opportunity County Prestress
is seeking a Plant Operations Manager to lead its Roberts,
Wisconsin prestress facility — the company’s largest and most
diverse operation. This role will oversee all prestress operations,
including production, quality, safety, and workforce management,
and will report directly to the VP of Operations. The Plant
Operations Manager will lead a team of 50–100 employees, managing
six direct reports, and will be responsible for driving operational
excellence, improving efficiency, and cultivating a positive,
empowered workplace culture. This position offers significant
autonomy to run the facility independently while collaborating
closely with corporate leadership. Key Responsibilities Lead all
aspects of plant operations at the Roberts facility, including
production, safety, quality, and staffing. Develop and mentor plant
leaders, fostering accountability, engagement, and performance.
Implement and sustain operational improvements focused on
efficiency, safety, and profitability. Analyze data to identify
trends, track KPIs, and anticipate operational needs. Partner with
corporate leadership to align local goals with company-wide
strategy. Maintain a strong presence on the floor, promoting
communication and collaboration across all levels. Foster a culture
of empowerment, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Manage
seasonal workforce scaling and ensure consistent production
standards year-round. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will
bring hands-on leadership experience within prestressed or precast
manufacturing, a strong focus on safety and quality, and the
ability to lead through influence and collaboration. Experience &
Expertise 7–10 years of leadership experience in prestressed or
precast concrete manufacturing. Proven success managing plant
operations, production teams, and efficiency initiatives. Strong
understanding of safety standards, lean principles, and quality
systems. Analytical and data-driven approach to identifying and
solving operational challenges. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not
required; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Core Competencies
