The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and compliance, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle the responsibilities tied with transporting hazardous materials. This role is critical in sustaining our reputation by adhering to strict safety and regulatory standards while maintaining our commitment to efficiency. Safely transport hazardous materials over assigned routes. Comply with all federal and state regulatory requirements. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety. Manage routes and routines to maximize efficiency. Maintain logs of travel and cargo according to federal and state regulations. Handle emergencies or unforeseen situations involving hazardous materials. Proficient in driving large vehicles Knowledge of hazardous material handling and regulations Strong skills in time management and route planning Ability to perform vehicle maintenance checks Effective communication skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid CDL A License Hazmat Endorsement Clean driving record
