The position offers a contract-based role with a flexible schedule, ideal for professionals seeking part-time engagement ranging from 0.2 to 0.4 FTE. You will work within a collaborative team structure, supporting a caseload of 15 to 20 students, tailored to your level of involvement. Key responsibilities include: Providing occupational therapy services primarily focused on fine motor skills and handwriting support Collaborating with one full-time Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) and two full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), who deliver most direct therapy Applying specialized curricula such as Handwriting Without Tears to enhance student outcomes Utilizing Interoception intervention techniques as part of a well-trained OT team Flexibly scheduling your workdays to meet FTE requirements and accommodate student needs Ideal candidates will have: A current Occupational Therapist license with experience or interest in school-based therapy Familiarity with pediatric fine motor development and handwriting interventions Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment alongside OTRs and COTAs Comfort with flexible scheduling to optimize service delivery to students Located in a vibrant community, this role emphasizes impactful therapy delivery within an educational setting.
