Surgeons must have training/experience and qualified skills in all areas of general surgery. Completion of Fellowship training in Bariatric surgery is required to apply. The general surgeon will be responsible for providing clinic-based consultations and surgical procedures in the hospital. Although most patients will be over age 16, the patient population may involve some pediatrics. Endoscopy is not required but is available.
