Registered Nurse (RN) | Ambulatory Care Location: Waconia, MN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,990 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 8 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Cardiac Outpatient RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Outpatient Clinic Cardiology Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in specialty License: Current state license required Certifications: ACLS Must-Have: - Epic experience required - Cardiology experience required - Assessment experience required: Interpretation of laboratory results, medication reconciliation, obtaining 12 lead EKG/ECG, obtaining vital signs, patient health questionnaire/history/allergies - Cardiovascular experience required: arrhythmia interpretation, cardiac arrest/CPR, chest pain management, automated external defibrillator use, hypertension management Description: The position is for an outpatient clinic focusing on cardiology. Shifts will be from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in a similar setting. First-time travelers are accepted. No weekend shifts required. The clinician will not be on-call. Floating within a 20-mile radius may occur as needed. Block scheduling may be accommodated. Candidates can be considered without a current license if they are in process. It is ideal that requests for time off do not exceed 5 days. The client may cancel up to 3 shifts without penalty. On-call hours do not count toward guaranteed minimum hours. Epic experience is essential, and cardiology experience is a must. Candidates must be proficient in assessing patients and interpreting various medical data. Daily responsibilities may include obtaining vital signs and reconciling medications. The clinic environment focuses on adult patients. No special patient ratios are specified, but care will be provided in an outpatient setting. This role requires strong teaching and communication skills, as education for patients is a key responsibility.
