*Job Title:* Physical Therapist 13 Week Contract*Location:* Saint Cloud, MN*Company: *Big Stone StaffingBig Stone Staffing travelers have the opportunity to work in multiple settings including long term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, inpatient, outpatient, and home health. We offer 13-week travel contracts and provide assistance to find housing, navigating licensure for each state, and being the liaison between you and the facility. We look forward to finding the right opportunity for you in your life.*Overview:** Setting: HH only* Pay Package: Starting at $1800 per week* Guarantee: 40-hour weekly guarantee* Schedule:Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm No weekends, holidays or call* Start Date:ASAP* Length: 13 weeks*Responsibilities:** Providing supervision for Physical Therapist Assistants and/or Therapy Aides as per state and federal laws and/or regulations* Consulting with patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms and review their medical history and referrals from doctors or surgeons* Diagnosing movement dysfunction by listening to patients and observing them as they move about* Developing an individualized treatment plan* Coaching patients and teach them therapeutic exercises and stretches to improve their condition* Using hands-on therapy such as massage to ease patients pain and provide stimulation to promote healing* Maintaining patient records by keeping track of goals and progress while adapting treatment plans accordingly* Advising patients and their families on in-home treatment options and what to expect from the recovery process* Performing administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone calls* Authenticating, preparing, and submitting of documentation, ensuring confidentiality of all records, per HIPAA guidelines*Qualifications:** Doctorate or masters degree in physical therapy from an accredited institution* Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist* CPR Certification* Valid drivers license* Must be able to pass a background check* Strong interpersonal and communication skills* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Experience in skilled nursing and/or outpatient settings preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply*Benefits:** Health, Dental, Life, Short-Term Disability, and Vision insurance options* 401k with employer contribution* 7 paid holidaysExtensive Professional Development program including:* Unlimited CE courses through MedBridge* Residency programs through Evidence in Motion with employer contribution* Financial assistance for specialty certifications* Mentorship program to support you no matter where you are*Why Work with Us?* Big Stone Staffing is a division of Big Stone Therapies, Inc. together we can bring top notch therapy services to rural communities.
