The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in critical care nursing, with experience in managing complex patient cases. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality care to critically ill children and their families, ensuring their comfort and safety during challenging times.*Duties** Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU, monitoring vital signs and assessing patient conditions.* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols.* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and social workers, to develop and implement individualized care plans.*Qualifications** Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.* Current Minnesota RN licensure.* Current BLS and PALS certification.* Two (2) years CVICU nursing experience which includes the ability to care for: pre-operative and immediate post-operative PICU surgical patients, and trauma patients, or two (2) years pediatric CVICU nursing experience and competent to care for pre-operative, immediate post-operative cardiac surgical patients, and pre- and post-cardiac procedural patients.* N95 fit testing required.Pay: Up to $2,706.00 per weekBenefits:* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Vision insuranceMedical Specialty:* Critical & Intensive Care* PediatricsPhysical Setting:* CVICU* Hospital* Inpatient* Level I trauma centerAbility to Commute:* Minneapolis, MN 55420 (Required)Work Location: In personby Jobble
