Overview:We are seeking a skilled and patient focused Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.Responsibilities:- Perform dental prophylaxis, including removing plaque, calculus, and stains from teeth- Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays)- Administer local anesthesia as directed by the dentist- Conduct patient screenings and assessments, including reviewing medical history and vital signs- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions- Perform dental receptionist duties, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records in Open Dental- Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe and sterile environment- Utilize CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions and restorationsRequirements:- Valid state dental hygiene license- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene- Proficiency in Open Dental or similar dental practice management software- Knowledge of medical coding for insurance billing purposes- Experience with taking dental radiographs (X-rays) and interpreting results- Familiarity with patient assessment techniques, including vital signs monitoring- Understanding of aseptic technique and infection control protocols- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectivelyWe offer competitive pay, contribution to medical plans or HSA, no cost in house dental, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.If you are a dedicated Dental Hygienist looking for an opportunity to make a difference in patients' lives, please apply with your resume.
