Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1 years
School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. A short-term
opportunity is available for a Substitute School Social Worker to
provide essential social-emotional and behavioral support at an
elementary school located in Burnsville, MN. This assignment begins
immediately and continues through at least April 6th, with the
possibility of extension based on district needs. The role involves
working closely with a dedicated team of educational professionals
to ensure student well-being and success. Key responsibilities
include: Delivering social-emotional and behavioral interventions
tailored to elementary students (Grades K5) Participating in
intervention and support team meetings alongside counselors and
psychologists Implementing classroom lessons focused on
social-emotional learning Facilitating small group instruction and
providing individualized 1:1 student support as needed
Collaborating effectively with teachers, administrators, and
support staff to foster a supportive school environment
Qualifications for this role: Bachelors Degree (BSW) or Masters
Degree (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program Current, active
licensure through the Minnesota Board of Social Work PELSB active
licensure is required Experience supporting elementary-aged
students in a school setting preferred This position is housed
within a full-time administrative and student services team,
including a principal, assistant principal, school counselor, and
school psychologist, fostering a collaborative work environment. If
