Job Description Job Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a passion for maintaining accurate financial data. You will play a key role in managing accounting operations, supporting financial reporting, and contributing to strategic initiatives. Responsibilities: • Oversee daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and payroll support. • Prepare and post journal entries while ensuring accurate account reconciliations and financial data integrity. • Manage month-end close processes, including balance sheet and income statement reconciliations, variance analysis, and necessary adjustments. • Develop and present monthly financial statements and comprehensive management reporting packages. • Track and forecast cash flow to ensure effective financial planning and monitoring. • Implement and refine accounting policies, procedures, and documentation to promote scalability and readiness for audits. • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and internal controls while supporting adherence to regulatory standards. • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts. • Collaborate with leadership on financial analyses, cost reviews, and operational projects. • Coordinate with external accountants on audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance requirements.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field. • Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting experience is highly preferred. • Proficiency in month-end close processes and general ledger management. • Strong knowledge of journal entries and account reconciliation methodologies. • Experience with bank reconciliations and financial reporting. • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail. • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners. • Commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated on industry best practices.
